On this 3 panel folding door the far left panel is the traffic door which allows normal day-to-day access from inside or outside without opening the complete door. To open this door fully you simply twist the internal handle on the meeting stile between the second and third panels releasing the shoot bolt locking system and then slide and fold the door fully open.

To conform to building regulations this door must be an external grade door and our Visofold Bifold doors fit the bill perfectly as they are fully compliant with Doc L of the Building Regulations. As standard they are supplied with our Triple Shield Argon Gas Filled Low E double glazing with an exceptionally low 1.2 U value ensuring your valueable heat is retained in the winter.

For internal use our bifolding door can be specified with a low threshold which can be channelled into the floor so the two floor levels remain flush throughout

On styles supplied with a traffic door lever handles operate a high security hook-bolt locking system and a profile key cylinder allowing access from both inside and outside. Bifold doors supplied without a traffic door do not have external access and can only be opened from the inside by operating the shoot bolt locking system using the handles fitted to the meeting stiles of the door

Aluminium -v- uPVC Bifold Doors
